On June 28, 2014 thirteen men were ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Brooklyn. Of the thirteen, five these men are Hispanic and each assigned to different multicultural communities. Rosado shares what is life as a newly ordained priest and how he uses a special gift to intertwine faith and culture.

Welcome to another day of Passion, Power and Purpose. God reminds us that although many may be against you, He is for you.
Hold on to God’s promises! If one thing is true, it’s God’s love for you. Even in the midst of your pain, sorrow, storm or pass, God’s love will never fail.

Angels Support Catholic School Students
There were Angels at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens, but it had nothing to do with baseball. As Currents correspondent Katie Breidenbach reports, these Angels are supporting students who are getting a Catholic education.
Church in New York Urges Passage of Education Tax Credit
As state budget negotiations in Albany come to a close, the Church is pushing for the measure known as the Education Tax Credit be included. If enacted, the legislation would encourage donations for scholarships to private schools and provide additional funding to public schools. Currents correspondent Konrad Aderer spoke about what’s happening in Albany with the Director of Communications of the New York State Catholic Conference, Dennis Poust.
40 Days of Passion: Day 37
Are you a promise keeper or breaker? Do you know anyone that has a hard time keeping their promises?
It’s never fun when someone makes a promise and then breaks it. Many people I encounter have trust issues due exactly to this type of behavior.
I have good news for you. God is a promise maker and a promise keeper! He always keeps His promises. God is trust worthy! Maybe others have failed you! Maybe others have abused your trust and in the process hurt you. God won’t!
On today’s Passion, Power and Purpose video, God challenges us to also become promise keepers. Hope you watch and obey.
Being a promise keeper has eternal blessings. Stop breaking promises you make and start keeping them. God is honored when we keep our promises.
Pray and Think about promises you have made to others, but especially promises you have made to God. Once you remember them, do your best to keep them.
