If it’s possible to be a veteran at 16, Stephanie Hanvey is one. She started singing at age 9, began performing publicly at 10. At 15, she was invited to sing at the Grammy Foundation MusicCares honoring Bruce Springsteen. This year, at 16, she became the first American Idol contestant to release a single the same day she premiered. That single, “On a Prayer,” was written by industry star-makers, Siedah Garrett, Barry Eastmond, and Karina Pasian and produced by Eastmond. Remember where you saw her first!
