Depression has been described as “the dark night of the soul.” And, for many people that dark night can last for weeks, months or even years. This week on To Your Health, Dr. Andrea Carlsen and social worker Rose Molfetta join host Portland Helmich to discuss therapy options and a new breakthrough treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation or TMS. Portland then talks to Martha Rhodes, the author of 3,000 Pulses Later, who shares about how transcranial magnetic stimulation helped lift her out of depression.
