The 15-year-veteran, who comes from a long line of firefighters, was cited four times for bravery. A devout Catholic, Michael has a connection to the Brooklyn diocese.

Joining the sisters in their celebration will be Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio. He will be presiding a Mass at St. Nicholas of Tolentine in Jamaica, Queens. The Mass and reception on Monday, April 9th, is open to all and starts at 2 p.m.
