When Chloe Howard was born with a club foot, doctors said she would never walk or have a normal life. By the time she was 14 years old, she had endured 5 major operations and years of physical therapy as well as assault in high school, when her deformed foot was forcibly displayed to her classmates. Chloe battled insecurity and depression as well her physical challenges, but she was triumphant because of her strength, her courage, and her faith. Tune in to hear Chloe’s story and the moments of grace that helped her become the beautiful young woman she is today.

Catholic Charities Hosts Family Day on Feast Day

On the feast day of Saints Joachim and Anne, Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens hosted a gathering for families at the Coney Island nursing and rehab center named in honor of the saints. Joachim and Anne were the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary and are the patron saints of grandparents. Currents News Tim Harfmann reports on the joyful occasion.

Rockville Centre Ordains New Auxiliary Bishop

Auxiliary Bishop Richard Henning was ordained in the Diocese of Rockville Centre today.
