Family, Friends Mourn One of New York’s Bravest

The family of FDNY Lieutenant Gordon “Matt” Ambelas were joined by firefighters from across the city and across the country and elected officials and dignitaries, in mourning a beloved husband, father, brother and friend.  Ambelas died on Saturday as he searched for possible victims of a fire at an apartment complex in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  Currents correspondent Michelle Powers reports from Lieutenant Ambelas’s funeral at St. Clare’s Church on Staten Island.
