Ike Sturm is a bassist, composer and bandleader in New York. He also serves as Music Director for the Jazz Ministry at Saint Peter’s Church in Manhattan. He has played on four Downbeat award-winning recordings. His Jazz Mass, a large-scale work, featuring choir and a string orchestra, premiered in Europe in 2011 and toured Europe and the US in 2012 and 2013. Ike’s next album will be released in early 2015.

Future Priests Take the Next Step
