La orden, fundada en 1995 en Colombia desea ser una Sociedad de Vida Apostólica que vive a predicar a Jesucristo vivo y resucitado. Hoy las hermanas han encontrado un hogar y misión en las parroquias del Santísimo Sacramento y San Bartolomé en Jackson Heights, Queens.  Es allí donde trabajan en comunidad con familias y jóvenes de las parroquias, evangelizando en formas nuevas y únicas. Las hermanas de la Asociación Predicadoras de Cristo y María utilizan las artes como parte de su misión.

Pope Francis has dedicated 2015 Year of Consecrated Life.  In this episode we meet two religious sisters of the order “Asociación Predicadoras de Cristo y María” (Association of Preachers of Christ and Mary).  He we learn about their vocation, and how they use music, dance and other creative means to transform lives.

The order, founded in 1995 in Colombia desires to be a Society of Apostolic Life that lives to Preach Jesus Christ living and resurrected.  Today the sisters have found a home and mission at Blessed Sacrament parish and St. Bartholomew in Jackson Heights, Queens where they work along side families and young people evangelizing in new and unique ways.  The sisters of the Asociación Predicadoras de Cristo y María use the arts as part of their mission.
