A federal jury has found Dzhokar Tsarnaev guilty of all 30 counts for his involvement in executing the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Three people were killed and 264 others were injured. Tsarnaev faces the possibility of being sentenced to death. As the jury deliberated, the Massachusetts Catholic Conference issued a statement from the bishops of that state, clarifying the Church’s opposition to the death penalty.
