A sculpture of New York’s First Archbishop, John Hughes, has arrived at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral just ahead of the blessing of the newly restored Cathedral.  Currents correspondent Michelle Powers was at Old St. Pat’s when the statue arrived.

Fund Assists Brooklyn-Queens Senior Priests

Currents correspondent Konrad Aderer speaks with Thomas Lawler, the founder of the Kathie and Christopher Fund* that benefits the senior priests of the Diocese of Brooklyn. The fund is named for Mr. Lawler’s late wife and son, who were both killed when American Airlines Flight 587 crashed in to the Lawler’s Belle Harbor home on November 12, 2001.

Maimonides Keeps Christmas Bright
