Title: Sacrifice-Forgive-Love
Reading: Matthew 9:35-10:1
The Lord told the disciples “Go to the lost sheep”. It’s easy to fish in a fishbowl, but God is calling us to cast our nets deep into the ocean. In today’s reflection video we are invited to leave the shores conformability and reach those that still have not been reached. Today’s challenge may seem difficult, but it’s not impossible. I am praying for you. Believe it!

Currents correspondent Michelle Powers reports from Coney Island, where Catholic Charities broke ground a new early childhood center, to replace a center that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
The day after the San Bernardino shooting, the headline on the front page of the Daily News: “God Isn’t Fixing This.” Currents correspondent Konrad Aderer spoke with people on the streets of Brooklyn about that and the issue of gun control.
Following the latest attack in San Bernardino, Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio spoke about it and the issues involved, including terrorism and guns. The bishop spoke with Currents News Director Ed Wilkinson.

Title: More lights less lamps
Reading: Matthew 9:27-31
In todays gospel we hear about two blind men who follow Jesus crying out: “SON OF DAVID HAVE PITY ON US”. Jesus asked them: “Do you believe I can heal you?” Do you believe Jesus can heal and help you? I believe he can. Please watch today’s video and share with someone in need of healing or help. Hope you help those in need. That is what God is calling us to do. Believe it!
Day 6 Action Advent: Today tell someone how good God has been in your life. Testify!

It may be a media extravaganza but the tradition of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was started without any fanfare, as we hear from Currents correspondent Michelle Powers.
Students of the Diocese of Brooklyn were treated to a performance of a new musical, as we hear from Currents education correspondent Marie Elena Giossi.
Tenor Daniel Rodriguez is one of the featured performers at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph’s Christmas Tree Lighting and Concert. He spoke about that and the celebrations of Advent and Christmas with Currents anchor Liz Faublas.
Joe Estevez and All Things Catholic visit Mission San Buenaventura in Buena Ventura, California and speak to Father Tom, who gives a history lesson on the mission through anecdotes involving Saint Francis of Assisi, Junipero Serra, and others, all while taking a full tour of the Mission.
