Currents anchor Liz Faublas speaks with News Director Ed Wilkinson, correspondent Michelle Powers and Brooklyn Diocese Vicar for Development Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello, who are at the 2015 Bishop’s Christmas Luncheon, at Russo’s on the Bay in Howard Beach. The money raised from the luncheon allows students to attend Catholic schools in Brooklyn and Queens.
After Sandy, Our Lady of Solace’s Renewal
Hurricane Sandy badly damaged the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Solace in Coney Island, which the parish used as an opportunity to do much needed repairs and refurbishment. Currents correspondent Konrad Aderer reports.
