Revisit the group of women that sewed the linens for the Pope for the Madison Square Garden Holy Mass. The group got to meet the Pope Francis in Harlem and I would like to get their experience and hopes for the Pope’s visit to their home land Mexico.

Blessed Jose Sanchez Del Rio

From the NET TV documentary, Mexico Ever Faithful, is the story of Blessed Jose Sanchez del Rio. He was just 14 years old when he was martyred for refusing to denounce his Catholic faith. He was captured and killed in 1928 and endured several weeks of imprisonment and torture before his death. He was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI in 2005.
