Three Priests Now Part of Brooklyn Diocese
Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio adds three men to the ranks of Brooklyn diocesan priests in a ceremony called incarnation. Fathers Anacleto S. Asebias, Jr., Jean G. Laguerre and Francis Kwame Asagba have nearly eight decades of experience from serving in the Philippines, Haiti, and Ghana. Today they officially join the Diocese of Brooklyn. Outpouring of Support as Brooklyn Girl Fights Lyme
12-year-old Julia Bruzzese, wheelchair-bound since this summer, continues her fight against Lyme Disease. She was blessed by Pope Francis in September, and now the community is rallying to support her with fundraisers and free treatments.
