Missing Brooklyn Priest is Found
Father John Ephraim is safe at St. Thomas Aquinas Church after he was reported missing. The West African priest, who has ministered at the Flatlands church for the past five months, was reported missing on Monday, November 21st. The next morning, the parish priests found Fr. John in the rectory. Tim Harfmann spoke to the church’s pastor, Monsignor John Brown.
Auxiliary Bishop Installed as Ridgewood Pastor
Tim Harfmann reports from Ridgewood as Bishop DiMarzio installs Brooklyn Auxiliary Bishop Neil Tiedemann as the new pastor of St. Matthias Church. After the untimely passing of its previous pastor, Monsignor Peter Zendzian, the Queens community was left without a pastor.
A Partnership Grows in Brooklyn
St. Francis College has one of the best education programs in the city. In the past six years, over 200 students have been placed into full-time jobs right after graduation. Michelle Powers sat down with some of the educators at IS 228, David A. Boody Junior High School, in Gravesend. Nearly 30 of the teachers there are St. Francis graduates.
