The Eucharist is one of the most powerful symbols of Catholicism. Remembering Christ’s sacrifice, by taking his body and blood – helps Catholics keep his sacrifice for our sins close to heart. Mysteries of The Church will look at how everyday New Yorkers relate to this sacrament, and use it to stay connected to Jesus’ teachings.
We will find powerful examples in everyday challenges, as well as extraordinary ones, where dedicated people keep coming back to the root of Jesus’ life to help them stay strong in theirs. We will also study examples of the bleeding Eucharist, and how these miracles inspire people all over the globe to stay connected to the power of Christ’s message – sacrifice, service and love.
