Students at Saint Francis Prep in Queens will be going into the new year a lot smarter thanks to some brand new tech.
An advanced anatomy lab featuring a virtual dissection table is now part of the high school’s science department.
The table will allow students in the anatomy and biology courses to see the interior of the human body and perform “operations” on more than one-thousand virtual cadavers.
One student at the school says she is excited about the new tool.
The state of the art lab was made possible through a grant from New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
