The Notre Dame Cathedral will open its doors for the first time this Sunday since a fire ravaged the landmark almost two months ago.

The Mass will be celebrated by the Archbishop of Paris, Michel Christian Alain Aupetit. It will take place in a small side chapel with twenty people taking part.

The Mass will be broadcast live so that Christians from all over the world can participate.

This Sunday is the anniversary of the consecration of the cathedral’s altar.
