Pope Francis has resumed his regular schedule after a brief hospitalization due to falling ill. The Pontiff had a full morning of audiences on Thursday, Feb. 29.
The Vatican has released the Pope’s Holy Week schedule, where he is set to preside over all celebrations.
The 87-year-old was at Gemelli Hospital for less than an hour. According to the Vatican, Pope Francis underwent “some diagnostic tests” before returning home. The Pope has been suffering from the flu for the last several days.
Pope Francis’ Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday Mass on Mar. 24.
On Holy Thursday, Mar. 28, he will celebrate Chrism Mass.
On Good Friday, Mar. 29, he will again lead a Way of the Cross at the Colosseum.
On Saturday, Mar. 30, he will preside over the Easter Vigil.
Finally, on Easter Sunday, March 31, Pope Francis will celebrate Mass and give an “Urbi et Orbi” blessing.
