If you’re in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn then you probably know that Tuesday, June 13, marked the beginning of St. Anthony of Padua’s feast. It’s a century-old tradition for parishioners at Our Lady of Peace Church to renew their love for the saint.

St. Anthony is widely known to Catholics as the patron saint of lost items. He is called upon by individuals who have misplaced or lost something and seek his intercession to help them find it.
