Every New York City resident will soon have guaranteed healthcare, regardless of immigration and financial status.
Mayor Bill De Blasio made the announcement today, saying the plan would include primary and specialty care as well as maternity, pediatric, and mental health services for all.
The plan is set to be rolled out later this year.
