A New Statue of the Newest Saint

Though she was born in Albania, Mother Teresa has a deep connection to the nearly one million Indian-Americans living in New York. Two of which are Remy and Flavia Almeida from St. Sebastian’s Church. In honor of her canonization, the Almeida’s are donating a statue that will be unveiled September 6th. Michelle Powers caught up with the couple to speak about what Mother Teresa means to them.
