Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio and pilgrims from the Diocese of Brooklyn traveled to Westbury, Long Island. They were there to commemorate the death of a Brooklyn priest who spoke and acted for the well-being of Black Catholics at a time when the Church was neglecting them. Monsignor Bernard Quinn is buried on Long Island which, at the time of his death, was part of the Brooklyn Diocese.
