47 Years of Service for Middle Village Teacher

Michael McHugh started teaching at Our Lady of Hope School in 1969, just six years after the school opened. Forty-seven years later, this well-known face is retiring. About 11% of the population of Middle Village has sat in his classroom, including parents and their children. Currents Correspondent Katie Breidenbach reports from an assembly called to celebrate the beloved educator.
