St. Patrick’s Cathedral – the iconic church on 5th Ave. – led a memorial service for the victims of the Ukrainian war.

The Ukrainian Chorus Dumka of New York sang a traditional service for the deceased. The prayers were led by New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Ukrainian Catholic Archbishop of Philadelphia, Archbishop Borys Gudziak in both English and Ukrainian.

The Ukrainian archbishop thanked those in attendance for their support for the war-torn country. Archbishop Gudziak estimates American Catholics have donated more than $100-million dollars in humanitarian aid to help the people of Ukraine.
