Deacon Thimote Cherelus was a small-business owner in his hometown, Port-au- Prince, Haiti, so he understands balancing profits with overhead and payroll. The soon-to-be priest is also educated in the Catholic faith, having recently earned his master’s in theology from St. Joseph’s Seminary and College in Dunwoodie, Yonkers. He is now looking to put that education to practice and use it on his new journey into priesthood.
Deacon Thimote Cherelus will be ordained in the Diocese of Brooklyn on June 3, along with three other men.
If you would like to view the ordination, just tune into NET-TV to watch it live at 11 a.m.
But if you can’t make it, no worries, we will deliver.
Just check Currents News and The Tablet in the next few days for complete coverage.
