New York’s new law, the extreme Reproductive Health Act that removes virtually all restrictions on abortion, is under fire tonight.
Because of that law, the death of an unborn baby from a violent assault on a pregnant mom would not be a separate crime.
Now, there’s a proposal to change that and New York state Senator Catherine Young is a sponsor.
Backing the bill in the State Assembly is Marcos Crespo, a democrat who represents the Bronx and he joins Currents News from Albany to discuss the new proposal.
