John Paul II came to the United States seven times… stopping in New York twice. On his last visit in 1995, he celebrated Mass in Central Park, at Giants Stadium in New Jersey and at Aqueduct Race Track in Queens where he called Brooklyn Bishop Thomas Daily a stalwart pastor. Currents correspondent Michelle Powers has been re-examining that memorable occasion.
