More and more students are getting stressed out, causing a mental health crisis among young people.

According to a new study by the CDC, in 2007 more than half a million young people between the ages of 5 and 18 went to the emergency room for suicidal thoughts or attempts.

Eight years later, in 2015, that number had doubled to more than million.

Joining us to talk more about how we stop kids from succumbing to the pressure is Bill McGarvey, a columnist for the Jesuit America Magazine.
