Some Honduran migrants that were slated to begin their journey to the U.S. on Tuesday have already departed.
According to local station Televicentro, they were scheduled to leave on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. local time, but left late Monday night.
Several of the travelers said they decided to advance the trip for fear of reprisals from authorities.
At least 2,000 migrants are part of this most recent caravan.
