Last night, Currents News aired The University of Notre Dame’s forum on the Catholic Church’s standing in regards to abuse. Here are highlights from “The Church Crisis: Where Are We Now?” including two exclusive interviews with Baltimore Archbishop William Lori and Juan Carlos Cruz, a prominent survivor of abuse.

Baltimore Archbishop William Lori was brought in by the Vatican to investigate former Bishop Michael Bransfield of Wheeling, West Virginia who is accused of financial corruption and sexual misconduct with adults. He spoke to Currents News about the importance of the Notre Dame Forum.

Juan Carlos Cruz is a survivor of one of the Church’s most notorious abusers in his native country of Chile. He sat down exclusively with Christopher White, the National Correspondent for The Tablet and Crux, to talk about his advocacy for survivor rights.
