Former New York City Firefighter Christopher Slutman was finally laid to rest Friday April 26.
The U.S. Marine staff sergeant was among three Marines killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan earlier this month.
A solemn procession was held from the Bronx to Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Manhattan.
The 43-year-old is survived by his wife and three daughters.
