Today, America’s Bishops are kicking off National Marriage Week. Lasting until Valentine’s Day, the goal is to focus on building a culture of life and love. The cleric in charge of the responsible committee, Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput says he hopes the week could nurture “an ever deeper appreciation for the gift of marriage and the blessings of family life.” A Brooklyn couple has been enjoying that gift and those blessings for a very long time.
