Even though the summer temperatures are still lingering, Citymeals on Wheels worked an assembly line packing up vital Emergency Food Packages (EFPs). The organization delivers food daily to over 18,000 homebound seniors, but the EFPs will be used in extreme weather, like snowstorms or hurricanes. They contain the equivalent of four shelf-stable meals that will be hand-delivered. Michelle Powers joined the assembly line and filed this report.
