The Brooklyn Diocese has issued an official alert about a laicized priest.
It has been reported in recent days that Christopher Lee Coleman has been acting in a manner that may lead people to believe that he is still in active ministry – which he is not.
The color photo of Coleman is from 2008 and the black and white was taken in 2004.
In 2009, Coleman was accused of sexual misconduct. The Diocesan Review Board investigated and recommended that he be removed from the priesthood. Coleman was then defrocked in 2013.
