Thousands of faithful are in Indianapolis for the first National Eucharistic Congress held in the United States in 83 years.
Currents News caught up with some of the pilgrims from the Seton route, who began their journey in Connecticut, passed through Brooklyn, and crossed several states to get there. They are among the four groups from four corners of the country that have converged on the Congress.
There’s a sacred art exhibit at the Knights of Columbus’ Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center in New Haven, Connecticut. The exhibit, “Do This in Memory of Me,” highlights and honors the Eucharist.
Hundreds turned out for a Mass and procession through the streets of Williamsburg. They carried a statue commemorating the apparition of the Blessed Mother at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for the saint’s feast day.
