One of the Diocese of Brooklyn’s most prestigious groups — the Cathedral Club — celebrated the milestone of its 120 year anniversary with a special dinner Feb. 6.
For more than a century, the lay organization has promoted the Catholic faith and provided scholarships to students to pursue their goals.
The annual dinner helps to raise those funds in support of Catholic education.
The club’s president, Brian Long, said they plan to do so well into the future.
The annual dinner honored New York’s Fire Commissioner, Daniel Nigro, and the head of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, Tom Grech.
Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio also received a lifetime achievement award.
