Seven Brooklynites – six police officers and one Williamsburg resident – stepped up and saved the lives of two people in two separate incidents. For their heroic actions, Sea Gate Police Department Sergeant Fredrick Manney, Officers Vinny Giardiello, Joseph Pascone, Nuchem Schwartz, and Thomas Schulz, as well as Cadet Elijah Santos are honored with Shloime Kohn of Williamsburg by Borough President Eric Adams.
