Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams names three “Heroes of the Month” – Dr. Robert Gore, an emergency room doctor who is in charge of a nonprofit that provides young people with alternatives to gangs, Sean Casey who runs a no-kill animal shelter in Windsor Terrace, and Jennifer Williams who helped to save an abandoned dog.
