An update tonight on the American Christian missionary who wanted to evangelize a tribe living on a remote island off the coast of India.
Twenty-six-year-old John Allen Chau recently traveled to Sentinel Island in the Bay of Bengal.
By all accounts, the Sentinelese killed him. They have resisted contact with the outside world, sometimes violently.
Intrusion by foreigners is prevented, out of fear of spreading communicable diseases. Chau was on a mission to spread the gospel of Christ.
