’92: The Striped Sari Comes to Brooklyn

It was in 1992 when Father Joseph Nugent spoke with Mother Teresa and asked her to send sisters who would work with the pregnant young women of the community and help them to choose life. Now, 24 years later, the Missionaries of Charity are a staple to the Diocese of Brooklyn.
