50 Years of Priesthood: An Incredible Milestone for Pope Francis

It was 50 years ago today that Jorge Bergolio was ordained a priest. 

We now know him as Pope Francis.

In his honor, the Vatican issued two postage stamps depicting Pope Francis when he first entered the priesthood, and as he is now.

At 82 years old, the pontiff has a vigorous schedule at times, traveling throughout the world’s Catholic communities.
