This week on Breaking Bread follow Monsignor Jamie and Johanna as they visit Our Lady of Lebanon Cathedral in downtown Brooklyn. They speak to Monsignor James A. Root as he explains how they acquired some of the church’s beautiful décor. Then watch as they head over to the famous Damascus Bakery where this family-owned business has been making the world’s best pita pockets since the 1930’s. Monsignor Jamie finishes up the day in the kitchen when he cooks up some delicious artichoke and clam dip.
