We visit Carmel and the San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo mission, one of the 21 missions in California, where the founding missionary, Fr. Junipero Serra, is buried. We also visit the gorgeous San Jose Cathedral, where we talk with volunteer Peter Perez, and the Chapel of Flowers funeral home, where we interview the owner, Sue Salman. Our last stop is the San Jose Mission, right up the street from San Jose Cathedral.
