Someone once said, “If we don’t teach our children who God is, someone will teach them everything He isn’t.”
Welcome to another day of Passion, Power and Purpose! On this day we see how the word of God is filled with instructions for our children, their children and us. God is highly interested in our faith formation and in the faith formation of the children in our midst. In a world saturated by false teachings and doctrines it is important that we invest in our religious education and that of the children. A young boy or girl with a strong faith foundation will be less likely to fall into the snares and traps the world sets for them.
Please make sure to make time for a child in your family and talk to them about Christ. Lent season is a great time to teach, talk, share and pray. You’re in my prayers!
