America’s Bishops are mounting an urgent campaign to protect the ‘dreamers.’ Along with the Bishop of Brooklyn Nicholas DiMarzio, who’s an internationally renowned champion of migrants and refugees, the prelates are calling for the preservation of DACA. The program is facing a legal threat. DACA protects some 800,000 young immigrants from deportation and gives them the right to work.
