Eamon Loingsigh (pronounced Amon Lynch) is the author of Light of the Diddicoy, the first of a trilogy about Irish immigrant gangs on the Brooklyn waterfront in the early 1900’s. His family emigrated from Ireland in the late nineteenth century and his grandfather and great-grandfather ran a longshoreman’s saloon on Hudson Street in Manhattan for much of the twentieth century.
