In a continuation of themes from the previous episode of Mission of Love (“Light in a Dark World”), Episode 8: “Home for the Wounded Heart” dives deeper into the pain that many face — in difficult situations in their lives and even in their homes. Poverty, disability, loneliness, unemployment, illness, sin, and addiction can all factor into life’s struggles. Christian families and communities are sources of mercy and support for those in the midst of their struggles — and can help to bring them back to friendship and intimate joy with Christ amid the suffering.
