A portion of 71st Street in Middle Village is renamed “Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Way,” honoring the late auxiliary bishop of Brooklyn. Bishop Sullivan was known for his work with Catholic Charities, but as Currents Correspondent Katie Breidenbach reports, he was also beloved by parishioners at Our Lady of Hope Church.
