A Celebration Fit for Patron Saint

Although Saint Patrick is commonly credited with bringing the faith to the Emerald Isle, he did not introduce Christianity to Ireland nor was he the first Bishop. But he did do more than anyone to spread the Gospel throughout the country, converting legions of pagans, especially in the northern part of Ireland. And that’s one of the reasons the step dancers, the singers and the Irish soda bread bakers are all gathering at Brooklyn’s Saint Patrick’s Catholic Academy in Bay Ridge.
